💯 🏆 King Estate did it again – made Wine & Spirits’ list of the Top 100 wineries in the world.
Wineries from Argentina to Uruguay are eligible for the Top 100 list. For the 14th time in our 30-year history, King Estate is among them. In fact, this puts us in the top 1/10th of 1 percent of the world’s 65,000+ wineries.
In announcing the 2021 winners, wineandspirits’ Editor Joshua Greene said, “We award this honor based on King Estate’s outstanding performance in our blind tasting across a range of wines.”
We are honored to be recognized alongside fellow Oregon wineries & the best producers in the world — bergstromwines, brookswinery, johanvineyards, linguafrancawines, ovumwines, eyrievineyards & walterscottwines.
Among King Estate’s top-scoring wines this past year are the 2019 Backbone Pinot Gris (92 points), 2019 Paradox Pinot Gris (91) & 2016 Brut Cuvée (91). Wines receiving 90-point scores were the 2020 Rosé of Pinot Noir & the following 2019 vintage wines: Croft Sauvignon Blanc, Quail Run Viognier, Steiner Block Pinot Gris, Johnson School Pinot Gris & Croft Pinot Gris.

We have recently completed construction of hiking trails throughout our 85-acre vineyard and Oak Savanna. We offer hikes ranging from one to two miles in length, with total elevation gain of 260 feet.
There is no cost to enjoy a hike on our property, although we do ask you check in at our tasting room and encourage you to purchase a bottle of wine or enjoy a wine tasting before or after your hike!
