Between the breathless rush of harvest and the calm of Cellar Season, we welcome the festive energy of the holidays—and with them a chance to step back, appreciate the beauty and camaraderie around us, and give back to the communities we call home.
This year, The Giving Season is our gift to you. After a year full of hard choices and unexpected obstacles, we found ways to come together (even when physically miles or even time zones apart) to keep our community strong. Every step of the way, you were part of that community, and now is our chance to express our gratitude.
The Giving Season combines Wine Country Thanksgiving, Willamette Cares Food Share, and the holidays. Our wineries and wine country businesses have each selected a special gift for you, to show our appreciation for Willamette Valley wine lovers everywhere.
Please note that Oregon Governor Kate Brown has introduced new, statewide COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting on-premise consumption in tasting rooms, restaurants and bars between November 18 and December 3. This means our wineries will not be hosting in-person Thanksgiving events.
On November 25, Governor Kate Brown announced updated restrictions based on a new framework ranking counties from lower to extreme risk. Beginning December 3, in all Willamette Valley counties, outdoor on-site consumption will be allowed at a reduced capacity (maximum 50 people total, 6 in a group, and up to 2 households represented).
The following wineries have provided the hours they will be open Thanksgiving Weekend (November 27–29) for to-go purchases and order pickup only. Please contact each winery for their specific details, and note that some wineries are offering curbside pickup by prior arrangement only.
In the tradition of Willamette Cares Food Share, our Giving Season celebration will include support for Oregon Food Banks. Together our participating wineries and wine country businesses donated $7,000 to the Oregon Food Bank Network, and many are continuing to make and accept donations. See all participants here.
Want to help? You can donate to the Oregon Food Banks directly by county. Mention “Willamette Cares” when you donate:
Visit Chehalem now until thanksgiving and give back to our community by donating dinner to a homebound senior.
For just $5.95, guests can provide a meal through Meals on Wheels to a senior in our community. While visiting the tasting room, you can add a meal donation at checkout. Join us to ensure that no senior goes hungry or experience social isolation this holiday season.

A portion of sales of our 2016 Gabriella go to NICU services at Providence/Portland Medical Center because owner Jessica’s daughter, Gabriella, was born two months early and spent her first month there. It was an honor to give back for other NICU families and to support their NICU team.
