Carlton Winemakers Studio

The Carlton Winemakers Studio is an elite Oregon winemaking facility with more than 15 years of history as a home and launch pad for some of the most groundbreaking wines from the Pacific Northwest.  It was the vision of its founding partners to provide a location for high quality winemaking in an efficient, economical and highly collaborative environment.  So, in the heart of the Willamette Valley in 2002, they opened the Northwest’s first alternating proprietorship and first winery built to LEED standards.

With top of the line equipment and a talented full-time staff, The Carlton Winemakers Studio allows artisan winemakers to focus solely on their craft.  This has attracted an array of pioneering Oregon winemakers and new winemaking talent through its cellar over the years. Thus, the studio’s tasting room is always filled with an eclectic selection of Oregon and Washington wines in an array of styles from some of the wine world’s most exciting talent.  Unassuming and down-to-earth, visitors might even find one of those esteemed winemakers pouring a glass for guests from behind the bar.  It may be why Food & Wine named it the place to visit in Oregon for their article, “Where to Drink Like a Local in Every State.”
