Honeywood Winery

Founded in 1933 by Ron Honeyman and John Wood, it was originally called Columbia Distillery, producing fruit brandies, cordials, and liqueurs. During WWII, they discontinued brandy production and made premium fruit wines. In 1980, the winery added Oregon Varietal Wines and in 1985, made its first specialty wine from peach and Riesling. Honeywood now produces 12 varietal wines, 14 premium fruit wines, and approximately 18 specialty wines and 2 hard ciders. Obviously, a winery must be close to its source of ingredients, and so it is with Honeywood. Located in Salem, in the heart of Oregon’s great and fertile Willamette Valley, the winery is minutes away from some of the world’s finest vineyards, caneberry fields, and fruit orchards. Oregon’s oldest producing winery welcomes you to the winery and tasting room for a wonderful experience.
