Lenné Estate
In the spring of 2000, after an extensive search for a prime site to grow Pinot noir, Steve and Karen Lutz discovered a steep, south-facing slope near the town of Yamhill. In 2001, they planted several pinot noir clones, including Pommard, 777,115, and 114. The elevation, steep slope, shallow mountain soil, and small yields, moved them on their way to creating profound wine. A small plot of Chardonnay was added in 2016, and has been very well received. The tasting room at Lenné is nestled in the heart of our hillside vineyard, offering stunning views in every direction. We are open for tastings 12-5pm, Thursday-Monday year round, with extended hours in the Summer. Contact us to schedule private seated tastings, vineyard tours, or special events.
