💯 🏆 King Estate did it again – made Wine & Spirits’ list of the Top 100 wineries in the world.
Wineries from Argentina to Uruguay are eligible for the Top 100 list. For the 14th time in our 30-year history, King Estate is among them. In fact, this puts us in the top 1/10th of 1 percent of the world’s 65,000+ wineries.
In announcing the 2021 winners, wineandspirits’ Editor Joshua Greene said, “We award this honor based on King Estate’s outstanding performance in our blind tasting across a range of wines.”
We are honored to be recognized alongside fellow Oregon wineries & the best producers in the world — bergstromwines, brookswinery, johanvineyards, linguafrancawines, ovumwines, eyrievineyards & walterscottwines.
Among King Estate’s top-scoring wines this past year are the 2019 Backbone Pinot Gris (92 points), 2019 Paradox Pinot Gris (91) & 2016 Brut Cuvée (91). Wines receiving 90-point scores were the 2020 Rosé of Pinot Noir & the following 2019 vintage wines: Croft Sauvignon Blanc, Quail Run Viognier, Steiner Block Pinot Gris, Johnson School Pinot Gris & Croft Pinot Gris.

We have to applaud the timing of the arrival of World Labyrinth Day - today, Saturday, May 7.
The labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness and mindfully strolling its path relieves stress, reduces anxiety, and enhances mental alertness.
Dating back 4,000 years and found across civilizations, labyrinths have long been used as a meditative tool to rejuvenate the spirit, center thoughts, sharpen concentration, and stimulate inner strength.
Every year on the first Saturday in May, thousands around the globe celebrate World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and equality.
